Woman Shot in Ulster County Near Popular Restaurants
Police are hoping you can help after a young woman was shot near a number of popular Hudson Valley restaurants.
The City of Kingston Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Elmendorf Street near Broadway.
On Monday around 1:45 p.m., officers responded to the area of Elmendorf Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers learned that shots were fired and one person was struck.
The victim, a 21-year-old woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries and is currently being treated at the Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley for a gunshot wound to the leg, police say.
The incident remains under investigation.
According to Google maps, the shooting took place near The Anchor, Keegan Ales, and Santa Fe Uptown.
