Hudson Valley Family Loses Everything in Fire, Help Needed
Here's how you can help a Hudson Valley family of seven who lost everything hours before Father's Day.
On Saturday before 9 p.m., the Campbell Hall Fire Department responded to a second alarm fire at a home on Briarbrook Lane. As the blaze intensified a number of other fire departments responded.
Just after midnight, the fire was placed under control, according to Orange and Rockland County Fire. According to a Facebook post, the family and all their pets got out safe, but only with the clothes on their backs.
"Tonight, my family lost their home in a fire," Nicole Casiano wrote on a GoFundMe she created for her family. "The house I grew up in, the house my mother, brother, sister, brother in law, niece and 2 nephews live in. Thankfully, everyone was able to get out. So much that can't be replaced."
