Reward Increased To Find ‘Armed and Dangerous’ Hudson Valley Man
A large reward is being offered for an "armed and dangerous" Hudson Valley man who's accused of killing his daughter-in-law.
On Wednesday, the Town of Haverstraw Police Department announced they are working with the United States Marshal Service to offer a combined reward of $10,000, in addition to the FBI's $20,000 reward, for the arrest and conviction of Eugene Palmer.
The Rockland County man is wanted for allegedly shooting and killing his daughter-in-law, 39-year-old Tammy Pannirello Palmer, on September 24, 2012, in Stony Point.
After a local arrest warrant was issued for Palmer in Rockland County and he was charged with murder, a federal arrest warrant was issued on June 10, 2013, by the United States Court for the Southern District of New York after Palmer was additionally charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Palmer is now on the FBI's most wanted list.
According to the FBI, Palmer "should be considered armed and dangerous." Palmer is known to be interested in auto racing and is a car enthusiast and is also an experienced hunter and outdoorsman, the FBI says.
Palmer is described as being a 5'10" 220-pound white man with gray balding hair and brown eyes. His left thumb is deformed.
The total reward for information relating to the arrest and conviction of Eugene Palmer is $30,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Cruger or Det. Sgt. Lutz at 845-354-1500. Information can also be forwarded to the United States Marshall Service or FBI.
