
Police: Hudson Valley Woman Beat EMTs
A Hudson Valley woman is accused of assaulting first responders.
On Monday around 6:40 p.m., City of Newburgh Police Department arrested 32-year-old Rebekah Hemingway of Newburgh in connection with an assault and attempted robbery involving members of the New Windsor Ambulance Corp. The alleged assault happened on Sunday.
Hemingway was charged with attempted robbery and two-counts of assault.
The Town of New Windsor Ambulance Corp personnel are expected to recover from the physical injuries sustained during this incident, police say.
