Suspect: Wild Sex Killed Missing Hudson Valley Women
The man arrested in connection with the death of a missing Hudson Valley woman whose body was found in a suitcase says she died during wild sex, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the New York Post.
Javier Da Silva Rojas, 24, was arrested in Queens this week and charged with kidnapping resulting in death in the killing of his ex-girlfriend, 24-year-old Valerie Reyes of New Rochelle.
Reyes was reported missing in late January. Days later, she was found dead inside a suitcase in Greenwich, C.T., police say. The woman was found inside the suitcase with her hands and feet bound.
Da Silva says he and Reyes had sex in her New Rochelle home on Jan. 29, the day Reyes went missing, according to court documents.
Da Silva claims Reyes died when she fell to the floor while the two were hooking up and cracked her head open, according to a criminal complaint.
The New York Post reports, Da Silva admits he reacted by covering her mouth and stuffing her body into a suitcase and leaving the suitcase in Connecticut.
Da Silva was in the country illegally, according to ICE.
