Snow Causes Woman To Drive Into Hudson Valley Business (Photos)
The aftermath of Wednesday's snowstorm caused a local woman to drive into a Hudson Valley business.
On Thursday just before 9 a.m., Kingston police investigated an accident at 460 Albany Avenue, the Mirror Mirror Hair Salon.
A 21-year-old woman from New Paltz told police she was driving a 2008 Dodge Caliber north on Albany Avenue when another car in the passing lane began to drift into her lane and she lost control of her vehicle on the snowy road while braking and trying to avoid the other car.
The SUV then collided with the Mirror Mirror Hair Salon. The driver wasn't hurt but the salon sustained significant damage, police say.
Police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
