Plane Heading to Dutchess County Lands on Golf Course, 3 Injured
A plane heading for Dutchess County had to make an emergency landing on a golf course leaving three injured.
According to Paramus Police, the plane was headed to Poughkeepsie but experienced mechanical problems shortly after taking off in New Jersey on Sunday.
The single-engine plane landed near the 9th hole at the Paramus Golf Course, police say.
There were four people on board the plane and three were treated for minor injuries, according to the Paramus Police Department.
Some people were golfing on the course when the plane landed but no golfers were injured, ABC reports.
