Following a nearly six week investigation, an Ulster County man is accused of breaking the window of a parked car and stealing items.

On Sunday, Town of Ulster Police arrested 38-year-old Richard J. Werry of Kingston for 4th-degree grand larceny, a felony, petit larceny and criminal mischief, misdemeanors.

On Nov. 3, uniformed members of the Ulster Police Department and members of the Detective Division began an investigation into a vehicle break-in. The investigation determined that Werry broke a window out of car that was parked in the lot of a business on Ulster Avenue, and removed a wallet which contained money and credit cards, police say.

Werry was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Ulster Justice Court.
