Police are hoping for help as they continue to investigate a Valentine’s Day armed robbery at a local Edible Arrangements.

You could say, someone was trying to be romantic on a day for lovers, just without having to pay for it.

On Valentine’s Day around 7 p.m., New York State Police from Monroe were told about an armed robbery at the Edible Arrangements located on Larkin Drive in the Town of Monroe.

The suspect is described as a white male in his thirties with a muscular build. He entered the store and displayed a handgun to a clerk and demanded money, police were told. A photo of the potential suspect is posted above.

The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

State Police are requesting anyone with knowledge of the suspect or crime to contact the New York State Police at Monroe BCI 845-782-8311.
