Brewster Man Charged With Raping Child Under 15
New York State Police charged 19-year-old Dulvin E. Andres Ovalle of Brewster with second-degree rape on Monday, June 17.
Andres Ovalle also faces a felony charge of disseminating indecent material to minors and a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators allege that Andres Ovalle raped a child known to him who was under the age of 15 years. Andres Ovalle additionally sent indecent material to the cell phone of the child. The parents of the child alerted authorities
Andres Ovalle was arraigned before the village of Brewster Court and remanded by the Honorable Judge O’Rourke to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 secure bond. Andres Ovalle is next scheduled to appear before the Court on June 21 at 10:30 a.m.
