Police: Wanted Hudson Valley Man Found With Stolen Gun, Drugs
When police found a wanted Hudson Valley man they say he was in possession of a stolen loaded gun and a number of drugs.
On Tuesday, members of the Kingston Police Department Special Investigations Task Force found 20-year-old Makinde A. Valdez of Kingston on Washington Avenue in the City of Kingston.
Valdez was wanted on an active warrant in Kingston, police say.
While taking Valdez into custody, police allegedly found a loaded handgun, crack cocaine and marijuana.
Valdez was charged with two counts of criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of stolen property and unlawful possession of marijuana.
