Police Seek Help Following Armed Robbery at Apartment Complex
Police in Dutchess County are hoping you can help them catch a man who's accused of committing an armed robbery at an apartment complex.
On Friday, around 5:45 p.m., City of Poughkeepsie police responded to the Hudson Pointe Complex for a reported robbery.
The victim told officers his doorbell rang and when he opened the door he was confronted by a black man who pushed his way in, displayed a handgun and robbed him of $100, his watch and cell phone.
The suspect fled on foot. The victim's cell phone was recovered on Pine Street, according to police.
A video shows the suspect going to several different apartment doors before going to the victim’s door, police say.
On Wednesday police released a photo of the suspect in hopes the public can help identify the man.
