Police are hoping for help after two white men were seen trying to gain access to a number of Hudson Valley homes.

New York State Police from the Brewster barracks is asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding suspicious activity in the town of Southeast.

Troopers received a call reporting two white men in their twenties walking around houses, apparently looking for ways to enter in the homes on Larkspur Road, South Drive and South Road.

One homeowner told police that one man knocked on the door and stated they thought they had recently rented the home.

If anyone has any contact with the men or information regarding similar suspicious activity, police ask that you call Troop K Headquarters at (845) 677-7300 and ask to leave a message for Trooper Kuhlmann.
