A Hudson Valley cab driver is accused of forcibly touching a female and attempted to touch another woman passenger. Police are hoping for help as they believe there are more victims.

Recently, after multiple woman reported being harassed or touched sexually by the same cab driver, New Paltz police began an investigation.

Three separate incidents were investigated. The cab driver was identified as 47-year-old Ayman Aboueida of Kingston who works for of Adam’s Taxi.

Aboueida is accused of forcibly touching a passenger on April 30 around 1:30 a.m., and attempting to forcibly touch another woman on May 4 around 1:30 a.m.

On Feb. 4, Aboueida allegedly committed an undisclosed harassment hate crime to a third woman.

All three incidents involved female college students and occurred in the Village of New Paltz, while inside a vehicle, police say.

Aboueida was charged with forcible touching, attempted forcible touching and harassment as a hate crime, all misdemeanors.

He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing and the New Paltz Police Department is requesting that any other potential victims contact the New Paltz Police Department Detective Division at 255-1357. All calls will be kept confidential.
