
Man Wanted on Minor Weed Charges Found With Loaded Gun, Police Say
An Ulster County man who was wanted on minor weed charges is facing more charges after he was found by police, allegedly with a loaded gun.
On Tuesday, members of the Kingston Police Department spotted 20-year-old Malcom Thomas of Kingston on Henry Streeet. Thomas was wanted for a misdemeanor marijuana charge in Kingston Court, police say.
While arresting Thomas, he was allegedly found with a loaded. 45 caliber handgun.
Thomas was charged with three-counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He was remanded to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
