If you lost power during last month's noreasters you might be entitled to a refund. But the deadline to file a claim is Sunday.

Con Edison and Orange and Rockland customers who lost power during the March nor'easters have until Sunday to file for food and medicine reimbursements.

"We regret that we were unable to provide reliable restoration times for many customers during these storms," Con Edison wrote on its website. "Con Edison will reimburse customers for food and prescription medicine spoilage if they lost power for at least three consecutive days or more during the two nor'easters that slammed the region recently."

If you have your receipts, for spoiled food and prescription drugs, you're entitled to $515. Customers without receipts will receive up to $225.

To qualify your home or business must have lost power for three straight days during either the March 2 and/or March 7 nor’easters.

With receipts, business owners are eligible for food spoilage reimbursements up to $10,200

Also, Con Edison announced that customers who lost power for three straight days will also receive a one-time adjustment to their bill by May 21.

"Residential customers will receive a credit of about $3 to $4 to the customer charge of $15.76 depending on the length of the outage, the company wrote. "For small and medium business customers the adjustment will be about $4 to $6 to the customer charge of $26.01. Larger commercial customers will receive similar credits based on their service classification."
