
Hudson Valley Man Killed While Crossing Street Near Mall
A Hudson Valley man lost his life while trying to cross the street near a mall.
On Thursday around 8 p.m., Zachary D. Fitzgerald of Poughkeepsie was trying to cross the east and westbound lanes of Lycoming Mall Drive in Fairfield Township, P.A., when he walked directly into the path for an oncoming vehicle driven by Christian D. Temple of Montoursville, according to Pennslyvania State Police, northcentralpa.com reports.
Fitzgerald suffered traumatic injuries which resulted in his death, police say.
The investigation into the fatal crash continues.
