Dutchess County Woman Accused of Stealing Laptop From Local College
A 4-plus month investigation led to a Dutchess County woman’s arrest for allegedly stealing a laptop from a local college.
Just after New Years Day, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested 34-year-old Maria Hernandez-Caballero of Poughkeepsie for petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.
An investigation revealed that Hernandez-Caballero stole a laptop computer from the Dutchess Community College south campus in Sept. 2016, police say.
Hernandez-Caballero was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Wappingers Falls Court at a later date.
