Cops Look for Driver Who Fled After Killing Dog in Hudson Valley
Police in the Hudson Valley are hoping you can help them find the driver who's accused of fatally hitting a dog and fleeing the scene.
The Kingston Police Department is investigating an accident on Albany Avenue that occurred Monday around 2:15 p.m.,
An unknown vehicle struck a tan Shiba Inu dog that ran into the road near 174 Albany Avenue, police say. The car allegedly left the scene without waiting for police to arrive.
Kingston police rushed the dog to a nearby animal hospital but the pet died from the injuries, according to the Kingston Police Department.
