4 Hudson Valley Counties Among Worst in New York For Drivers
Four Hudson Valley counties are considered the most dangerous areas to drive in New York State.
Hudson Valley personal injury law firm Mainetti & Mainetti, P.C. researched New York State government data regarding car crashes and released a report which listed the 10 most dangerous counties for drivers across New York State, minus New York City counties.
According to Mainetti & Mainetti, four Hudson Valley counties are the most dangerous for drivers in New York. Below are the ten counties with the most car accident emergency room visits per 100,000 residents:
- Suffolk – 1,172
- Nassau – 911
- Orange – 905
- Sullivan – 871
- Schenectady – 849
- Dutchess – 844
- Niagara – 832
- Montgomery – 818
- Ulster – 785
- Erie – 781
