Two Arlington High School students lost their lives in a one-car rollover collision.

Just before Dec., a Putnam County man, a teacher in the Bronx, was found dead in his school's bathroom from an apparent heroin overdose. He leaves behind three children and a pregnant wife.

In Jan., car that fled a Dutchess County stabbing caused the fatal accident on the Mid-Hudson Bridge.

In Nov., a Rockland County officer was fatally shot in the head driving in Orange County. 

In July, a man died after he fell hiking at Breakneck Ridge.

A 22-year-old from Poughkeepsie died after he crossed the double yellow lines on Route 44.

A mother who was a passenger on her husband's motorcycle lost her life when two motorcycles collided. Two others were seriously injured.

A 49-year-old Ulster County school bus driver was found dead in the back of his empty bus.

An on-duty Fallsburgh police officer was found dead inside his home.

After spending time in prison for killing a man while driving drunk, an Ulster County man was accused of another fatal drunk driving accident.

A Saugerties man admitted he was very drunk and high when he crashed his car and killed his 22-year-old friend.

A mother and her young son lost their lives following a Black Friday fire in the Newburgh. 

An Ulster County woman was killed when her cab was hit by an oncoming tree. 

A Dutchess County woman lost her life in a fire inside her Hopewell Junction home.
