Popular Hudson Valley Restaurant Suddenly Closes Down
At a time when many are trying to lose weight, a popular restaurant in the Hudson Valley that served healthy meals suddenly closed down.
Seemingly, without warning, Muscle Maker Grill at the Mid-Valley Mall in Newburgh closed down just before the New Year.
Regular customers were surprised when they arrived at the eatery last month only to find the doors locked. No note was left on the door. Phone calls just rang….and rang…and rang.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, Muscle Maker Grill Newburgh finally announced, what many who frequented the restaurant on a weekly basis feared, the eatery was closed.
“Unfortunately, Muscle Maker Grill is closed,” the company wrote on Instagram. “We fought to keep our doors open for you, even against our best interest, but just couldn't overcome the tremendous overhead.”
For many, the timing was awful. One of the most popular New Year’s resolutions is to lose weight. A restaurant that promoted a healthier way of living is hard to find in the local area.
In fact, the Muscle Maker Grill in Newburgh was the only Muscle Maker in the Hudson Valley, according to the company’s website.
