Police: Hudson Valley Man Knocks Over Mailboxes, Passes Out in Road
A man who was found passed out drunk in the middle of the road in the Hudson Valley is accused of knocking over mailboxes, garbage cans and more.
On Friday around 1:20 a.m., Lloyd police responded to a report of a man knocking over mailboxes, garbage cans and throwing rocks and plants at homes on New Paltz Road in Highland.
Police soon allegedly found a 21-year-old from Highland passed out drunk in the middle of Kisor Road. He was treated at the scene by Mobile Life Ambulance and taken into custody.
The man was charged with two counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending as police are investigating over 20 more counts of vandalism to mailboxes and property on New Paltz Road, South Riverside Road, Kisor Road and Weeds Mill Road areas in the Town of Lloyd, police say.
