On social media, Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park made an exciting post. They included that visitors can now enjoy additional free parking.

They shared,

SOLAR CANOPY LOT OPEN ON WEEKENDS

 

“On weekends beginning Saturday, September 13, visitors to the Walkway are invited to park in Scenic Hudson's solar canopy lot on Parker Avenue at no charge. “

The Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park explained that this lot is closed during the weekdays because it’s the staff of Scenic Hudson. They appreciate the kindness of Scenic Hudson to let visitors park in their lot on the weekends.

The Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park reminds visitors that there is free parking in Pulaski Park which is near the Poughkeepsie entrance. The address is 162 Washington Street.

Their main parking lot is closed for construction. The address is 61 Parker Avenue. Cheers to free parking! It makes it worth visiting this top destination in the Hudson Valley.
