Police: 8 Hudson Valley Residents Caught Stealing From Walmart
Eight Hudson Valley residents are accused of shoplifting from a local Walmart.
On Tuesday, the Town of Ulster Police Department announced the arrests of eight people who are accused of stealing from Walmart.
Three Kingston residents, ages 27, 30, and 27, are accused of stealing $144.61 worth of merchandise.
A 23-year-old from Hyde Park was charged by Walmart loss prevention for shoplifting $58.98 worth of merchandise around midnight on Aug. 12, police say.
A 48-year-old Kingston man is accused of stealing $276.04 worth of merchandise on Aug 11.
A 35-year-old man from Kingston was charged by Walmart loss prevention for allegedly shoplifting $35.56 worth of merchandise around 11 p.m. on Aug. 11.
Two Ulster County woman, a 28-year-old from Clintondale and a 28-year-old from Highland, are accused of shoplifting $48.82 worth of merchandise on Aug. 12 around 6 p.m.
All were charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. All were released on appearance tickets pending there return to Ulster Town Court.
