Man Accused of Continually Sexually Assaulting Child in Dutchess County
A man was arrested for allegedly continually sexually assaulting a young child. Police are hoping for help as they believe there could be more local victims.
Following a month long investigation, on Wednesday, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office charged 51-year-old Raul M. Plaza for predatory sexual assault against a child, class A felony.
The investigation determined that Plaza engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a child, police say. He’s accused of engaging in a continual course of sexual conduct with a child less than 13 years old.
Plaza was arraigned before the Town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. He’s due back in court on May 8.
