Gigantic Indoor Waterpark Ready to Open in Hudson Valley
A massive indoor Hudson Valley water park, which will be the biggest in New York, is ready to welcome guests.
The Kartrite Resort & Indoor Waterpark is getting ready to welcome guests for its grand opening on April 19, according to a press release.
The waterpark in Monticello on the campus of Resorts World Catskills will feature many thrilling water attractions, including waterslides, a FlowRider surf simulator, a lazy river, a kid’s activity pool and a multi-level play structure with slides.
An indoor entertainment center will feature an arcade, mini-bowling, a ropes course, multiple restaurants and bars, a spa and more.
The resort and waterpark will feature a two-acre four-season waterpark and 324 hotel rooms. Once complete, the waterpark will be the biggest indoor waterpark in New York, officials say.
According to the company's website, the state of the art indoor waterpark will deliver "an unbelievable family adventure for all ages."
The waterpark and resort are expected to create 500 permanent jobs and up to 250 construction jobs.
