Deer Crashes Into Car Windshield On I-84

This terrifying sight happened during rush hour this weekend on I-84 in the Hudson Valley.

On Friday around 7:30 a.m., East Fishkill, Rombout and Moblie Life Support Services responded to reports of a car vs deer accident on Interstate 84 East, near Lime Kiln Road in Hopewell Junction.

Arriving first-responders found a car with a deer through its windshield and a driver with minor injuries.

Mobile Life attended to the accident, while local police and fire responders dealt with traffic control, during rush hour Friday morning.

According to the East Fishkill Fire District, the unnamed driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed, but minor injuries.
