ACW Brings Wrestling Entertainment Back to Poughkeepsie

Poughkeepsie New York used to be a hot spot for wrestling fans with big names like Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage stopping by the former Mid- Hudson Civic Center.

For a while, the wrestling craze in Poughkeepsie slowed down. That is until Awesome Championship Wrestling kicked down the door in January 2025 at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie bringing electric wrestling matches back to the region.

Since then, they've drawn sold out crowds to the MJN Center with names like Real1, Tommy Dreamer, Matt Cardona and many others.

You never know who's going to show up to an ACW event. In early January 2026, actor and wrestler, David Arquette popped up at ACW: Poughkeepsie Rumble.

The Hardy Boyz Coming to ACW Aftershock at MJN Center in Poughkeepsie

For the last few days, ACW has been teasing an announcement. On January 20th, 2026, they kept their word and gave the Hudson Valley legendary news.

ACW took to social media to announce "The Hardy’s are coming to Poughkeepsie." That's the legendary duo the Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff Hardy. ACW writes "From ladder matches that changed the industry to championships captured around the world, The Hardy's have defined generations of tag team wrestling."

They add:

Now, that legacy steps into ACW — delivering unpredictability, intensity, and a live experience that simply can’t be duplicated.

ACW explains that this meet and greet is "extremely limited and WILL sell out." The recommend getting your meet and greet tickets in advance.

Meet and Greets include photos, autographs and "face-to-face time with one of the most iconic teams in wrestling history." Meet and Greets start at 3:00pm.
