6 Arrested For Swimming At Ulster Beach
Six young adults were arrested for allegedly illegally swimming at an Ulster County beach just before 3 a.m.
On Monday around 2:45 a.m., while conducting routine motor patrol at the Village of Saugerties beach, Saugerties police noticed a number of people swimming in the area.
A 23-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man, a 28-year-old and a 19-year-old man, all of Saugerties, and a 25-year-old from Phoenix, A.Z. were all charged with trespassing.
All six were processed at the scene and released on appearance tickets, returnable to the Village of Saugerties Court on July 24.
