Winter Weather Advisory Remains For Hudson Valley, New York
How much more snow will we get? Most of the Hudson Valley is being hit with its first snowstorm of the season and we have pics of roads covered with snow.
Many schools are closed this morning and a winter weather advisory is in effect for the region. Roads were covered with more snow this morning than some drivers expected.

As of 6 a.m., roads in Orange, Ulster and Dutchess counties are drivable, though make sure to give yourself a lot of extra time if you are hitting the roads. Some roads haven't been treated and roads that have been plowed are covered with slush.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the region until noon on Friday.
"Plan on slippery road conditions and low visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute," the National Weather Service stated.

The National Weather Service is predicting 2 to 6 inches of snow for Dutchess County and 2 to 4 inches of snow for Orange and Putnam counties.
As of this writing, The National Weather Service believes at least two more inches of snow will fall on most of the region. With up to 3 more inches for the Lower Hudson Valley.
"Slow down and use caution while traveling," the National Weather Service adds.
In its final snow forecast, Hudson Valley Weather predicted 1 to 3 inches of snow for the Mid-Hudson Region and 2 to 4 for the Lower Hudson Valley.
Snow could fall heavy at times from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. with the storm tapering off between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.

"Temps in the upper 20s will result in snow covered roads region wide, and that will mean a multitude of delays and cancellations," Hudson Valley Weather adds.
