A routine traffic stop in Fishkill led to a felony drug charge for one Newburgh man.

New York State Police stopped a Honda on Route 52 on Friday for a window tint violation. While interviewing those in the car, the troopers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Shawn Albright, 39, of Newburgh was a passenger in the Honda. New York State Police said he was found to be unlawfully in possession of Xanax, oxycodone, Viagra and marijuana.

Albright was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled dangerous substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled dangerous substance and marijuana possession.

Albright was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Fishkill Court on Wednesday.
