Warwick Man Arrested for Falsifying Business Records

A Warwick man was arrested following an investigation into false business records from 2014.

New York State Police in Middletown arrested 46-year-old Robert F. Salern, of Warwick on four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, and four counts of falsifying business records.

Police say the charges stemmed from Salerno’s activities in 2014 during his employment at an area financial services company.

Salerno was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff in lieu of $3,500 cash bail or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on Aug. 19.
