Stewart Airport Doubling Flights to European Destination
The Hudson Valley now has double the amount of options to fly from Newburgh to Europe for $99.
On Wednesday, Norwegian Air announced they are doubling the number of flights between Stewart International Airport and Dublin.
“More than 130,000 passengers have flown Norwegian between Ireland and the USA since flights commenced last July, and today marks our continued expansion by introducing twice-daily Dublin-New York flights,” Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian Thomas Ramdahl said.
Starting April 26, Norwegian’s daily nonstop flights between Newburgh and Dublin will increase to two flights per day. One-way tickets start at $99, according ot Norwegian.
The new flying schedule is as follows:
Stewart to Dublin Airport
Afternoon flight:
• Daily – Departs 12: 25 p.m. Arrives 11:45 p.m.
Evening flight:
• Daily – Departs 9:00 p.m. Arrives 8:20 a.m+1
Dublin Airport to Stewart
Morning flight:
• Daily - Departs 8:10 a.m. Arrives 10:30 a.m.
Afternoon flight:
• Daily – Departs 2:30 p.m. Arrives 4:50 p.m.
Officials also believe the increased flights from Dublin into the Hudson Valley will boost the local economy.
A new shuttle service will bus passengers arriving from Dublin to and from the Woodbury Commons. The departing bus is scheduled to big passengers back to Stewart International Airport in time for an evening departure.
