State Police Investigate Fatal Crash On Taconic

New York State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on the Taconic State Parkway at approximately 2:25 am on Christmas Eve.

According to the State Police, a vehicle was traveling north on the Taconic near Miller Hill Road when it was possibly struck by a falling tree, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn.  The operator was pronounced dead at the scene.

### In an update provided by the New York State Police, the victim has been identified as 36-year-old Zafar Rustmor of Brooklyn, NY.
