Sex Offender Convicted of Rape Moves Near Hudson Valley School
A sex offender who raped a teen is now living within walking distance of a Hudson Valley high school.
Adam Nameth, 41, moved from Port Ewen to Staples Street in Kingston.
In 1999, Nameth raped a 16-year-old girl in Ulster County. In 2000, he was convicted of rape and sentenced to 5 years in prison, according to the New York State sex offender’s database.
Nameth, a Level-2 sex offender, is three-tenths of a mile from Kingston High School, according to Google Maps.
Nameth is described as being a 6’0” 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Level-2 sex offenders have a moderate risk of a repeat offense.
