
Police: 3 Stole From Numerous Hudson Valley Churches
Three people are accused of stealing collection boxes and more from a number of local churches.
On Wednesday, State Police arrested 30-year-old Reginald Bonneau, 18-year-old April Smith, both from Cairo, and 33-year-old Jennifer Hall of Greenville. All three were arrested following an investigation into thefts from local churches.
All three are accused of entering numerous churches in Greene County and stealing collection boxes, candles and other property from the churches.
Bonneau was charged with nine-counts of burglary. He was committed to the Greene County Jail without bail.
Hall and Smith were both charged with two-counts of burglary. Both were remanded to the Greene County Jail on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
More charges are pending, police say.
