New York Motorcyclist Killed on I-84 in Hudson Valley

A 27-year-old from the Hudson Valley was found dead on I-84 in the region.

On Sunday just before 4 a.m., New York State Police from the Middletown barracks responded to a single motorcycle crash on Interstate 84 in the town of Wallkill.

The investigation revealed that 27-year-old Stephen J. Nemeth of Highland Mills was traveling west on a 2016 BMW motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the bike and struck a guide rail, police say around 3:53 a.m. on Sunday.

Nemeth was ejected from the motorcycle. He was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to New York State Police.

Police did not release more information about the crash.
