After an investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office and the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center, a Millbrook man is facing charges for allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexual contact with a minor.

Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reported that Donald H. Briggs, 65, was charged with two counts of third degree criminal sexual acts after having contact with a person under the age of 17-years-old. Briggs was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, or $20,000 bond.
