New Wolf Ready to be Wolf Ambassador at New York Wolf Conservation Center

Kinari, a gray wolf, arrived at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) earlier this year as a small puppy. She has grown enough during her time at the WCC that she is finally ready to live with part of the pack.

The WWC announced through social media that Kinari's transition has been made and that she is doing well living with her brothers, Silas and Nikai. They stated that the transition went well in a press release they posted this past week.

The WCC was founded in 1999. It works to protect and preserve wolves by educating people, by being part of research, by advocating, and they also participating in active recovery programs.

Kinari and her journey are just one of many programs that the WCC supports. Kinari moving to the enclosure with her brothers makes a milestone for her. She has now stepped into her role as official Wolf Ambassador

In this role, she will help educate the public about her wild counterparts and the critical role wolves play in healthy ecosystems. As part of the ambassador pack, Kinari will connect visitors to the importance of wolf recovery and conservation. (Wolf Conservation Center via Press Release)
