New York Air Show Returns To Orange County, NY In 2026

Get ready to look up because one of the Hudson Valley's biggest summer events is getting ready to take flight.

The New York Air Show is back, and this year it's returning to the Orange County Airport in Montgomery, NY, bringing two days of jaw-dropping aerial performances, military aircraft, and family-friendly entertainment to the Hudson Valley.

This year's show will happen on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, and is expected to be extra special as it comes during America's 250th birthday celebration, making the patriotic event even more memorable.

Performing This Year in Montgomery, NY

Headlining the weekend are the world-famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, who will once again wow crowds with their incredible precision flying demonstrations in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Known for flying just inches apart at incredible speeds, the Thunderbirds are always one of the biggest attractions at the New York Air Show.

Also taking to the skies will be the historic B-25J Mitchell bomber "Panchito," a beautifully restored World War II aircraft that honors the men and women who served during the war. Spectators will also have the chance to watch the West Point Parachute Team, one of the longest-running military parachute teams in the country.

Beyond the action in the sky, visitors can enjoy plenty of food and beverage vendors, lawn seating, premium viewing areas and the VIP Flight Line Club, which includes catered food and an all-day beverage bar.

Summer Fun in Orange County, NY

Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus said the New York Air Show has become a summer tradition for aviation enthusiasts across the region while also giving visitors the chance to explore everything Orange County has to offer, from local breweries and downtown shopping districts to nearby attractions like Woodbury Common Premium Outlets and West Point.

The New York Air Show runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday at Orange County Airport, located at 500 Dunn Road in Montgomery. Tickets start at $32.25 for adults and $21.50 for children. Get more information on the 2026 New York Air Show online here.
