Another Beacon, New York Hot Spot Closing Up Shop
Another Beacon, New York staple is closing their doors.
Several Beacon Businesses Close in 2024
It's a sad trend we've seen far too often over the last few years. Several Hudson Valley businesses have had to close their doors over the last few months.
Back in June of 2024, we earned that a popular nightlife, entertainment venue in District Social on Fishkill Avenue was closing their doors after 3 years in service. District Social, which was home to axe throwing lanes, a large arcade and bar, explained that their neighbors at Industrial Arts Brewing Company would be taking over the District Social space.
More recently, Kitchen Sink Supper Club also announced their closure after 9 years in business... sort of. According to their announcement, Kitchen Sink will be closed through the winter, but they have plans to return in the spring of 2025 as "something different."

In April of 2024, Max's on Main closed after owner Richie Kaplan made the decision to retire. Max's on Main was a Beacon hot spot for 18-years. It's rumored that a steakhouse is moving in to the Main Street location.
And now, we can add another Beacon business to that closure lineup.
After 10 Years in Business, The Vault Closes
Have you ever had a drink inside a bank before? Maybe you have, personally I look at my bank account and need a drink. I digress.
The Vault in Beacon, which used to be a former bank that comes with you guessed it a vault in the wall, was one of the more popular stops in Beacon for the last 10 years.
Sadly, they have announced that after a decade in service it's time to close the vault doors. In a statement on Facebook The Vault writes "In our 10th year and the twilight of our lease, it is time for The Vault to bid farewell and close its doors."
The Vault's last day in business is Sunday, November 3rd, 2024.
They go on to thank all their customers writing "We wish to thank all of our patrons from the Hudson Valley and elsewhere. It was our distinct privilege and pleasure to serve you."
What Will Become of The Vault in Beacon?
I personally think it should be some sort of haunted attraction, because I had what I believe is my first and only ghost experience there.

Unfortunately I don't think that's the case. But The Vault did add in their closing statement that there are already new tenants who will be moving in the future.
The statement reads:
I will let the new tenants announce themselves and disclose their plans for this space. I will simply say that it sounds exciting and I think you will see members of our staff working there.
We'll be keeping a close eye out for any updates. Fingers crossed they keep the real vault intact.
