Hudson Valley Teen Goes Missing in New York on Thanksgiving
A Hudson Valley mother sent out a desperate cry for help after her son went missing early Thanksgiving morning.
On Thanksgiving, the Kingston Police Department asked for help in finding 14-year-old Brenden Riley of Kingston.
Brenden was last seen on Thanksgiving around 10 a.m.
He was believed to be wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt and tan pants.
Days past and police continued to search for Riley with no leads announced.
One person commented on the post saying the teen was spotted at a Thanksgiving festival later that afternoon.
"He was with a young girl at the festival on cedar street in the afternoon. I saw them just before we left around 2:30," Stephanie Rene Cole stated.
"If anyone has seen my son Brenden Riley PLEASE LMK ASAP," Brenden's mother, Amber Riley posted on Facebook Thanksgiving evening.
Brendan's mother later said her son did text her, but from a number that can't be traced.
"I just received a text from him from a text now number cannot be traced anybody that lives in Saugerties and sees my child please let me know because he’s obviously with somebody that’s old enough to either A: have their own place to live or B: he’s with a child and his parents my child does not really know anybody in Saugerties now I’m worried," she wrote.
The next day she commented again with more information as she continued to worry.
Earlier this week Brendan's mother confirmed in the comment section her son was found.
She did not reveal more information. Police have yet to confirm Brendan was found.
