Hudson Valley Man Wanted in N.C. Arrested for Stealing Thousands from Local Woman
A Hudson Valley man who’s wanted in North Carolina was arrested after police say he stole thousands of dollars from a local woman he was helping.
Gregory P. Myers, 31, of Summitville was charged with 4th-degree grand larceny. He is additionally a Fugitive from Justice out of the State of North Carolina and in violation of his parole.
This arrest stemmed from an investigation into the reported larceny of $2,410.00 from a residence in Summitville. Police say during their investigation it was determined that Myers was assisting a homeowner in Summitville with some work around her home and allegedly removed the money from the residence.
Myers was arraigned at Town of Mamakating Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on no bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Mamakating Town Court on Monday.
