A pair of Hudson Valley high school students were arrested after a lengthy investigation into the theft and use of a stolen debit card.

New York State Police at Cortlandt say on March 7, 2016, two 17-year-old Hendrick Hudson High School students stole a debit card from a victim at the school and proceeded to make purchases at multiple establishments in the Town of Cortlandt and in the City of Peekskill.

Both unnamed defendants were issued appearance tickets for one count of 4th-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class E felony

Both are due to appear in the Town of Cortlandt Court on April 4.

One suspect was additionally charged with another count of the same crime and issued an appearance ticket returnable in the City of Peekskill Court on April 7.
