Heavy wet snow is blanketing the Hudson Valley this morning. The slippery driving conditions are causing multiple accidents and road closures.

At least a half dozen accidents have been reported this morning on the New York State Thruway between Kingston and Newburgh. There are also crashes reported near Harriman.
The wet, heavy snow is expected to keep falling until this afternoon when it's predicted to turn to all rain. Most area schools are closed, but you can check on your local district and other closings and delays on our online database.
