
FBI: Hudson Valley Man Enticed Young Girls Into Child Porn
A Hudson Valley man is accused of owning child porn and convincing young girls to engage in sexual behavior.
William Phillips of Highland is accused of contacting minor girls on a chatroom-based website, a website allegedly used by men looking to sexually exploit preteen and teenage girls, Fox reports.
Over 50 minors removed their clothes or engaged in sexual activity with the users, police say.
On Friday around 6 p.m., Town of Lloyd Police and the FBI raided Phillip’s home. At the time, Phillips was logged onto the website with many chatrooms open, officials say.
Authorities allegedly found a large amount of child porn on the laptop, one video showed a man sexually assaulting a young girl.
Phillips was charged with producing child pornography, attempting to produce child pornography, conspiracy to produce child pornography, conspiracy to receive child pornography, conspiracy to access with intent to view child pornography, coercion and enticement of a minor participating in a child pornography enterprise.
