Dutchess County Man Accused of Owning Child Porn
Police allege that a Dutchess County man was in possession of child porn.
New York State Police from Rhinebeck along with the Troop K Computer Crimes and Major Crimes Units announced on Tuesday the arrest of 63-year-old Michael M. Billone of Rhinebeck.
Investigative work led by the Computer Crimes Unit in Troop K developed information that Billone was allegedly in possession of digital files containing sexual performances by children.
A search warrant was applied for and granted by a local judge which led to the subsequent arrest of Billone, police say. He was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
Billone was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Rhinebeck Court on July 12.
