While doing research about the loneliest place in the Empire State, I quickly learned a number of locations in New York are lonely than more of America.

24/7 Wall Street used Census Bureau data to determine the 50 "loneliest" places to live in the United States.

The website looked into 384 metro areas by looking up the percentage of "nonfamily households living alone out of all households" and ranked the top 50.
