It all started in my early 20s. I moved into my first apartment, just up from the Newburgh waterfront, very close to what's now the Newburgh Brewing Company. (Yes, it was many years ago LOL)
It was a great apartment, but when touring it, I didn't think about how close it was to the train tracks.
The CSX West Shore Line runs through Newburgh several times per day. Some reports say at least 8 trains pass per day, others say a train comes through every few hours.
I can't tell you how many, but I can tell you that the train is noisy and seems to last forever. Anyone who's dined at the Newburgh waterfront or Hudson Taco/the Pizza Shop can attest.
